The piece was very thin and only 5" long at best. The red snapper oreganata was the small filet of fish I've ever been served in a restaurant. The mozzarella was good, but they buy it down the block at Casa della Mozzarella like most restaurants in the neighborhood, all of which will give you double the portion here for the same price. We paid $12 for the mozzarella caprese appetizer, which consisted of 4 tiny slices of tomato and slivers of mozzarella. This has been happening the last few times I've come but I'll just highlight the last visit. To make matters worse, I've noticed the food slide down in terms of both quality and quantity. Their lack of knowledge is costing this place money, and the brusque way they go about their jobs is costing this place customers. Mind you there were no less than 3 tables open already. If reservations are that difficult for you, why even offer them? Last time was the last straw, where they rushed me and my girlfriend out so they could take our table. Every time I've gone in, they're fussing endlessly over reservations, turning people down at the door for no reason, and making people wait unnecessarily long for tables even when they have a reservation. They've shifted service to just a sister or 2 running the show and it is clear they don't have experience running a restaurant. Unfortunately I can no longer recommend Tra di Noi. I will just wait until I go to Trattoria. Unfortunately, I don't order it because I'm scared it will disappoint me. I want braciole now every time I go to an Italian restaurant. Overall this meal is one I want every time I'm hungry. The desserts were amazing, especially the limoncello. It' s one of those combinations that I crave daily now. I didn't understand the whole concept so I ended up with an obscene amount of sambuca in my glass and later in my tummy. Mike and I decided on sambuca and espresso. The limoncello truffle ice cream, the cappuccino truffle, and the tiramisu hit the table. We packed up the braciole and Chris' potatoes and veggies and turned our attention to dessert. But the Braciole won the vote of the masses.

The penne with it were perfectly cooked and coated in a homey tomato sauce. Its rich and delicate, filling and complex. It was my first time eating this Italian comfort food, and I could not eat 1/3 of it. Everything was incredible, but the braciole was the best. For mains we sampled the braciole with penne and tomato sauce, Chris ordered monkfish, and Mike got the tortellini with mushrooms and truffles. Chris' linguine came in a huge portion, was cooked perfectly and alone would have made an incredible meal. I could have polished a plate of that on my own. The burrata was homemade, fresh and buttery. The mussels rocked-fresh, steamed perfectly and an awesome tomato sauce. With our white wine in hand, we settled in for our meal. We decided on starters, and I opted for the mussels, Todd opted out (meaning he was going to eat my food), Mike ordered the burrata and prosciutto, and Chris ordered the appetizer portion of linguine with clams. We were met with an offer of wine, which we graciously accepted, as well as menus, and soft fresh bread. They were friendly and kind, seating us at table number 7, Chris' cousins table. We got there, and hung up our coats, and the greeting we were met with was nothing short of stellar.

He graciously picked us up from the 110th street station with his friend Mike, and drove us up to the Bronx-tour and everything included. Chris had a gift voucher he had been hanging on to for a lonnnggg time- like a year! On a Saturday night we finally ventured to Trattoria Tra di Noi.
